tomorrow we get back our results. that means ive got one day left before i die.
i watched the grudge anyway, with shuning, queenie and deng ying. i thought i will never be crazy enough to watch something like that, but i was. ive been sleeping with my lights on for the past few days, and i think it will have to stay this for...quite some time at least. there isnt even much of a story. its just another typical jap ghost story - some tragic death leading to revenge killings. but well, i hated the graphics. it was just gross.
we watched two movies that day. sky captain and the world of tomorrow and the grudge. shuning was so funny! she SHOUTED during the sky captain show. for goodness sake it wasnt even scary! hahaha! and we all screamed like mad people during the grudge, naturally.
67 days later, we will all be in different classes. this is just sad man. and i will be sec THREE! thats really something. i mean, i never imagined myself as a sec three. its just so very strange.
I WANT TO GO OUT. im broke!! urgh. but nevermind i will get my allowance for november soon. hmm.
and theres nothing else to say. bye.

and the exams are over, which means i have access to the computer again.
uh, now what do i do? do i give the world a complete discription of how the exams went, or do i express my heartfelt exuberance of the end of it all? HA. HA. HA.
ok lets see. i think i did fine for most of the papers, except lit, of course, in which i, most unfortunately, screwed up almost, yet not entirely, the whole paper. o, the truth is, i really didnt know what "martyrdom" meant. honest. and i blatantly forgot to describe the mood and tone of the poem, when that was exactly [almost] what the question asked for. you know what? i think im going to do better for geog, even, than lit. and that says A LOT, really. well.
uh, but thats that. and we watched white chicks, 19 people in all, with a few two-fourteeners and two-twelvers. but they didnt exactly go with us. we just happened to enter the same cinema. its really amazing how the show didnt fail to amuse me, despite that being my second time watching. and juju is...creepy. she let her hair down during the movie, and i got such a shock when i turned around for the first time. i really fear having to watch the grudge with her. i can just imagine: halfway through the show i would turn away to shield myself from the horrifying scenes, only to find myself face-to-face with a 3D version of it. such horror is unthinkable.
but the exams are over, and we people should rejoice...
...until we get back our results.

another childhood incident.
when i was 6 i went to the PAP childcare centre at bukit batok. there i was always bullied and the people there called me "zhong guo ren". but i was dumb and i didnt do anything. i always got zero for my english spelling, cos i hardly knew how to write abc. and they laughed at me for that. then there was this "popular" group. 4 guys and 2 girls, i think. everyone wanted to play with them. but i was dumb and i didnt want to. i was probably the only kid who didnt suck up to them. and so, i remained unpopular. and one day those kids were playing power rangers. they pretended to be them, rather. and i really liked yellow ranger, for some reason [i think it was because of her hair]. yeah, so i approached them and said i wanted to be yellow ranger. this girl from the popular group, lets just call her N, said she's yellow ranger. and i said ok i'll be pink ranger. the other popular girl just came up from behind me and said it has been taken by her, and the others agreed. it was so...unconvincingly stupid. in the end the six popular people got to be the power rangers, and somehow everyone else was really happy. but i just thought they were stupid - for goodness sake theyre not even the ones playing! and i disliked N a lot cos she was the one who mocked me the most. but i made it through that kindergarten. by the time i went on to the next kindergarten everything was on track.
then, sec 1. i walked into the classroom and i saw this really familiar face. i went up to that person and asked for her name. it was nicole. she looked exactly like N - they even had the same hair. and not many people in this world have that hair by nature. but then again i was pretty sure N didnt have a christian name. and yeah there were other inconsistencies too, so nicole is probably not N. but for the first few months i didnt like nicole much anyway - she reminded me of N so much i couldnt get N off my mind! you see, N is that kind of people who really irk me. they deserve nothing yet they get everything. but yeah, sooner or later theyll deplete their luck. but well, its still relatively irritating.
and yes, dont be offended nicole. you are really very nice. no, im serious. i really am. :)

i took a stroll this afternoon. the air smelt fresh and the clouds were beautiful. and the sun was shining, its rays were cooling. i passed by an old woman sitting all by herself. she was staring into space and pondering. i walked on and it became exceedingly quiet. there two students from jjc were frenching. they were frenching for nearly two whole minutes. and the whole time i walked as slowly as i could. i could even hear them after i walked about twenty metres away. but they looked really unnatural and the guy seemed stiff as a robot. the girl didnt seem to be enjoying herself either. so whats the point of frenching if it was done in such agony? and yes you dont have to tell me i know im not supposed to watch pple doing things like that. but they were so focused that they didnt even notice, or bother to notice, when i walked past them at an abnormally slow pace. maybe theyre too focused. thats why that kiss turned out so terrible. but maybe french kissing was meant to be like this, although it seems highly unlikely. i dont know. i cant picture myself doing that.
yes ok so you figured. i am just bored. there is nothing to do except to study. and i dont like studying. its really draining. espescially if youre trying to study geog or history. ok history is not that bad la. geog is. dont know how some pple can take geog and get so high. maybe im just not cut out for geog. that means, i probably will never be able to become a, geologist! gosh that is SUCH a pity.
